At Funhang, we stand behind the quality and durability of our electric bikes. That’s why all Funhang e-bikes come with a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty covering all manufacturing defects. (Please note: Free accessories included with your purchase are not covered under the warranty.)
WARRANTY PERIOD AND ELIGIBILITY
The warranty is automatically registered when the original purchaser orders and receives the product from our online store. This warranty applies only to the initial purchaser.
If the e-bike is transferred to a new owner, the warranty remains valid only if both of the following conditions are met:
The 12-month warranty period has not expired since the original owner received the bike.
The new owner has the original purchaser’s name and order number.
COVERED PRODUCTS
Frame
Funhang e-bike frames are covered by a 12-month replacement warranty.
This warranty includes a replacement frame only. Any labor costs associated with transferring parts to the new frame are not covered.
Funhang reserves the right to use scratch and dent stock when replacing a frame under warranty. If the original frame style or color is unavailable, we may replace it with a compatible alternative at our discretion.
Frame issues NOT covered under this warranty include but are not limited to:
Corrosion
Paint fading, scratches, or impact marks
Damage caused by impact or accidents
Unauthorized modifications (such as drilling or welding)
Battery
Funhang batteries are covered by a 12-month prorated warranty.
Within the first 12 months, a defective battery will be repaired or replaced free of charge.
The warranty period for a repaired or replaced battery will not be extended beyond the original purchase date.
No cash reimbursements will be issued.
This battery warranty does NOT cover:
Damage caused by improper charging (e.g., using a non-compatible charger).
Any battery with a broken seal or signs of tampering.
Batteries used in devices other than the original Funhang e-bike.
Normal wear and tear, such as gradual capacity reduction over time.
Damage due to external causes like fire, flooding, lightning, or improper storage.
Parts & Components
All spare parts and components come with a 6-month warranty, except for consumable parts (e.g., brake pads, tires, tubes).
If a spare part is defective within the warranty period, Funhang will replace it at no cost, but the customer must cover the shipping fee.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications.
WHAT’S NOT COVERED?
This limited warranty does NOT cover:
Normal wear and tear on consumable parts such as brake pads, tires, tubes, and grips.
Scratches, dents, or cosmetic damage not caused by Funhang.
Damage due to accidents, misuse, racing, stunt riding, or other improper use.
Damage caused by exposure to extreme weather, water, sand, or chemicals.
Defects or damage resulting from unauthorized modifications or improper assembly.
Labor costs associated with part replacements or repairs.
